Childcare Workers under the age of 18: do you have a PA Work Permit (excluding volunteer counselors)? *

If no, visit your school district's website and search “Work Permits.” Follow the directions given. Once you have a permit, send a copy to clearances@biblechapel.org.

Background Clearances

PA legislation requires background clearances for anyone 18 years or older who will be volunteering with children on a regular basis. Act 153 does require every volunteer who is 18 years or older to have a Criminal Background Clearance, a PA Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Fingerprinting (which you can be exempt from should you meet certain criteria). If you have existing clearances, you may upload them with this registration for us to verify.

PLEASE NOTE: Official results for these clearances must be submitted. We cannot accept copies of the receipt showing they were completed.

Should you be required to have clearances and need new clearances completed, you will be contacted by a ministry team member. You will be contacted ONLY if clearances are required.

No one will be allowed to participate in certain ministries without the appropriate background clearances.
